The Médina

Motorcycle madness through cinnamon soot

Relentless din of commerce and craft

I cast my eyes through dusty paths

Through hazy hew my die is cast

Outside the hamman friendships form

Old ladies offer tempting feasts

While exotic trinkets shine and call

Brought in on burdensome beasts

Dirty faces send smiles bright

“Hello my friend remember me”

A look of hope yet hopelessly

Perhaps tomorrow oh let me be

Into the square we venture deeper

The temptress Temps you in

Madness monkeys and motorcycles

Swallow the sounds and dampen the din
